Funky Monkey in Fortuna

It was a great place for the kids to be inside on a cold day & celebrate Lilah's 3rd birthday. We all had a great time, good pizza & a great salad bar. Thanks Funky Monkey!

During my travel, went here on Christmas eve with my two little girls, was staying across Best Western, walking distance from the hotel which was a plus. My chicken salad was delicious, but my complaint is my little girls ordered the teriyaki chicken. To our suprise no rice was included and the chicken was saturated with veggies, I knew my girls will not eat it. I asked my waitress Destanie if we can order something else, I was told she called the owner and refused our request. I've never heard of such a thing. If a customer is unhappy about the food the restaurant should accommodate. I don't even believe she called the owner. Another suggestion to the owner, if you have teeny bops working let them know to not talk so loudly about their bfs and social affair. It's not a good look for the restaurant.

This was a lucky find. We had pizza and salad. Both of which were exceptional. The service was first rate and the prices were good. We left a large tip :-)

Good food, Kid friendly atmosphere!

Nice dining option for dinner. Doesn't open until 4pm. Pizza, wings, burgers, and other Italian and American cuisine. Good service and clean. Would eat here again.

The food and service were above my expectations. We truly liked the atmosphere of this place. Extraordinary place to take the family out for lunch.

Pizza great, bud draft terrible, lines need cleaning and whole system needs flushed. Saw this same complaint about 3 months ago. Could be a great place if not for the beer

The service was great but the food was like paying $12 for someone to heat up a microwave dinner for you. No wait time. Air hockey! Solid three stars.

The pizza was good But with all the games and machinery around there wasn't much Room for anything else. The pizza was good

Awesome pizza and awesome games, I have two six year old twin daughters and my girlfriend has two seven year old twin daughters + 11 year old daughter so five girls and two of us is about $90 to feed and have a great time excellent place to go highly recommended

I was very happy with my visit to the funky monkey. My waitress was attentive the burger was good and the French fries were delicious. I will keep coming back when I'm in town.

Terrible experience for my sons birthday. Waitresses were disrespectful and snotie. They told us we couldn't buy a bottle of wine they were sold by the glass and so was the pitchers of beer. Any where I've been you could buy a pitcher and have as many glasses as you want, not here. They only cook one pizza at a time. We ordered 3 so it took 2 hours to get all 3 pizzas. This place is a joke. I dont recommend anyone going here for anything ever.

It has mainly italian dishes, but also american style ... the food is delicious and well served.

First, Funcky Monkey was open late , not crowded, and the service was good. I never had the feeling of being rushed even though we were one of the last customers. So kudos for that. The salad bar was fresh and had a fair variety. The pizza was just average though.

The worst experience. My order was cold. The driver forgot some of my food not once but 2x. My dessert was not what I ordered and when I called they said they wouldn't fix it, the guy never came back for at least 20 minutes with the rest of my order. The sauce on the fettuccine was so runny and had no flavor. This is the first time i have ever had a bad experience here and it literally is the worst. I am 8 months pregnant and all the workers could say is there is no manager and he is on vacation. Never eating here again.

Awesome food. Great place for a get together, B-day party. They have five big screens tv's. A big arcade f or the kids. I would highly recommend eating their.

They have always been really good. Only had one bad visit, when it wasn't busy but nobody came to our table in 10 minutes so we left. Their pizza is great though and they have several games and a play area for kids.

This pizza is actually REALLY good. They have great prices and a really good variety of pizzas. They got pretty creative with their pizza combinations as well. Great customer service. Great place to have the family and have birthday parties for the kids. They also serve beer and wine and have a couple of big TV's. Great place!!

This place is extremly underrated. Food is awesome and affordable. The best pizza in fortuna! service is excellent. Drinks are always full food comes out quick and its a friendly enviorment. Sports bar for the adults and an arcade for the kids!

Ordered several times on my 10 day trip to Fortuna. Only real option in town on Doordash without having to go to Eureka. Tried a few things during various pickups and we enjoyed them all.

We arrived at this place for dinner. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we had a great feeling. The food was just great. We loved this spot a lot and we will visit this place again. We recommend this place to all.

Ordered sweet potato fries and got regular. Ordered my meat to be med. and it was burned. I ate less than a quarter of my dinner. Took 45 min. To get our dinner! It was terrible!!!Very disappointed! They took 15% off my in eaten meal! Wooppeee! It was NOT the waitress’ fault!

Placed our order at 10:30. Deliver scheduled for between 11:45 and 11:55. Tracker showed that order was received and then when the food was being made. No show, no call, no answer. Restaurant closed at 12. We order from here weekly, not happy at all

Fabulous food, great service but dear God change your name! We almost missed this gem because the name was such a turn off. Thankfully we decided to try it anyway and love loved loved our waitress Megan 😍
